Out of My Head – Wednesday 6 September
Don’t miss out on the private preview screening of the Out of My Head film!
A filmmaker, seeking treatment for her daughter’s migraines, discovers a confounding neurological disease; and learns why a condition so ubiquitous and severe remains deeply misunderstood. The film will be shown at Vancouver Convention Centre (East Meeting Room 1 – First floor) on Wednesday 6 September from 18:00 – 20:00.
Welcome Reception - Thursday 7 September
A great opportunity to meet up with colleagues, make new contacts and catch up with friends at the Welcome Reception. Drinks, nibbles and entertainment will be provided at this must-attend event for all delegates. The Welcome Reception will take place at Vancouver Convention Centre on Thursday 7 September from 19:00 – 20:30.
This event is included in your registration fee and can be booked during the registration process.
Soccer Match – Friday 8 September
Join us for the traditional 11-a-side soccer match at this year’s soccer event at the IHC 2017 in Vancouver!
When: Friday 8 September at 19:30-21:30
Coach Transportation: Please meet at 19:15 in the registration area at the Vancouver Convention Centre – East
Location: The Thunderbird Park at the University of British Columbia. UBC Athletics and Recreation, Vancouver Campus, 272 - 6081 University Blvd, Vancouver, BC Canada V6T 1Z1
Provided: Jerseys, water, soccer balls, outdoor field on synthetic grass (11 vs. 11) and changing facilities with showers
Bring: Soccer shorts, socks, soccer boots (for synthetic grass) and towel for showers
Prize: IHC Trophy to the winning team

Trainees Forum – Saturday 9 September
Don’t forget to sign up for the Trainee’s Party at the registration desk and enjoy ocean views with a buffet dinner at the Mahony & Sons restaurant from 20:00 to late.
Once you have signed up you will be able to collect your tickets within the IHS Emerging Leaders Programme / Trainees and Residents session on Saturday 9 September, 18:00 – 18:45.
